Bateau Bay House is situated at the edge of a suburban street, facing a reserve and the ocean beyond. A large central courtyard divides two living pavilion structures. A breezeway connects the front and rear pavilions doubling as both circulation and an outdoor room to sit and enjoy the garden below. The project focuses on connection to views and gardens while creating seclusion and privacy for occupants.
